The Scenic Route

I took the scenic route back from lunch today. The road ran south of the Missouri between Great Falls and Ulm, and was well worth the extra time getting home.

Courthouse Restoration

I had the opportunity to take the Mavic up to capture some of the roof restoration project at the Cascade County Courthouse.

Elago W3 Stand for Apple Watch

I haven't reviewed anything lately, but UPS delivered something today that is worth mentioning. I've had a Nomad watch stand almost since I bought my Series 0 Apple Watch. It's a great stand. It's not that I don't still love Portland. I'm just not as in love with it as I was back then. The population doubled, but the infrastructure didn't, the political climate felt hypocrytical and strange, and the solid gray skies were starting to get to me.

So I loaded up the UHaul and drove to Montana.

Columbia River Gorge

I came back to Portland for a two week visit yesterday, (more on the move to Montana later.) Driving through the Columbia River Gorge was eerie. The rain was pouring down, there was a thick layer of smoke, and every…

Nine Years with Evernote

Evernote recently celebrated the nine-year anniversary of their public beta. Three years ago, I posted my Evernote stats. I thought it would be fun to look at my stats after nine years.
