Marissa and Heather Downtown

I’m always torn between night time neon portraits and gritty, grainy, black and white night portraits. We did both over the course of two nights.

Marissa had access to several different dresses, so we experimented with a few.

Going back to the previous post about the Sony A7R III and Auto ISO, the second night felt more successful than the first. Using the ISOASS with Fast setting produced more consistent results. I still have some work to do when it comes to mastering night time portraits, but practicing is a blast.

Now that the days are getting shorter, it’s definitely easier to schedule night portraits. I’m hoping to squeeze in a few more sessions before it gets too cold here in Montana.
