Watching Water

The combination of earlier snow melt and recent rain storms have pushed local rivers over their banks. From what I’ve read today, it looks like the Missouri river has peaked at 14.5 feet, and is expected to start receding soon. The Sun River is also starting to slowly recede. Several fishing access sites will remain closed until the areas can be cleaned up and deemed safe.

My dad and I drove to a few places tonight to take photos. The amount of water running through these rivers is crazy. Thankfully, nobody was injured, and damages are minimal.
