Command + Space Bar = My Favorite Mac time saver

via lifehacker.com Spotlight is your Mac's built-in search tool. It's great for finding documents, email, etc. But it's also perfect for opening applications. This Lifehacker article goes into a bit more detail, but essentially you just hit Command+Space and start typing the name of the app you want to open.
