When I first bought my GFC camper, I spent hours combing through accessories and build-outs trying to get ideas for my own. One of the items on my must-have list was the molle panel that installs around the front window of the camper.
There was a third-party company that made them, but they were consistently out of stock for my camper size.
Then last August, GFC announced that they were going to be offering the GFC Pro MOLLE Panel directly. I jumped on the pre-order sale and ordered mine.
It took a little while to arrive because they wait for an exact camper model to come through the assembly line before designing the molle panel. Even though that caused production for mine to take a little longer, the perfectionist in me appreciated the attention to detail.
It arrived today, and I figured I’d document the installation. I’ve been meaning to write about my entire GFC experience for some time–and I’ll get to that eventually–but for now this will have to do.

The install
Honestly, I really thought this was going to be a detailed blog post outlining all of the installation steps for the molle panel. But the truth is, it’s 6 bolts. It took less than 5 minutes to install. The only challenge, if you can even call it that, is that I had to move some of the lighting wiring that came with the v2 Pro. I also had to put a little pressure on the bottom of the panel to get the lower holes to line up. It may have been stacked under something during shipping, in spite of the FRAGILE sticker on the box.

If you’re on the fence as to whether or not you want to pull the trigger on the molle panel, I say go for it. It’s a relatively inexpensive addition that is definitely worth the money.
