Pantone Color of the Year 2021 : Ultimate Gray and Illuminating

Every year (since 2000,) Pantone comes out with the color of the year. I’m not always a fan, but last year’s Classic Blue was outstanding.

This year, they went with a yellow and gray combo. Not sure how I feel about it yet, but it’ll be fun to play with some ideas. I like that they include the psychology behind the color choices. Color really does affect everything around us. I guess this uplifting yellow is appropriate after the year we just had.

I really liked 2017’s Greenery, and 2002’s True Red, but 2020’s Classic Blue is my favorite.
