When Adobe first introduced the CC subscriptions, I was less than thrilled. I have always preferred to hand over money, and get a copy of software that I can keep indefinitely. I still have install CDs for early versions of Photoshop and Illustrator. Eventually I warmed up to the idea. $120 a year for Photoshop and Lightroom is awesome. Add in the Lightroom mobile sync, and all of Adobe’s nifty mobile apps, and $10 a month doesn’t seem so bad. Even if I don’t get a nostalgia-inducing install CD.
One of my favorite features from the recently released versions? Lightroom Mobile for iOS now supports syncing videos. Now everything on my phone syncs back to my desktop Lightroom.
The 2015 versions of CC apps are now avaialable. Great time to try out a CC subscription if you haven’t already.
