I was reading a post someone wrote about how they funnel their online life into one Tumblr blog. It sounded cool, but I didn’t necessarily want to combine everything publicly. Sometimes I share certain things to certain social media outlets based on the people I interact with, so funneling everything into one public blog didn’t make sense.
Enter Evernote.
Using IFTTT, I now send Foursquare checkins, blog posts, Facebook status updates and photos, daily Flickr photos, YouTube video links, and Instagram photos into a journal-type notebook in Evernote. So no matter where I post, I have a chronological archive of it in Evernote.
